Brush hogging and field mowing

Overgrown field? Pasture getting ambitious? Our 8-foot heavy-duty brush hog on a Kubota M6060 tractor cuts back overgrown fields and property vegetation. Brush hogging, also called brush mowing or bush hogging, is a mowing service. Describe the vegetation and include photos so we can assess the work.

For woody vegetation, ask about forestry mulching and brush clearing. Our excavator-mounted mulching head handles vegetation 6 inches in diameter and smaller. We’ll help identify which service fits your project.

Gravel driveway repair and grading

Ruts, washouts and rough gravel make a driveway memorable for the wrong reasons. We assess driveway condition and drainage, then discuss grading, gravel refresh or repair work suited to the property.

Dirt work and brush hogging questions

Where do you work?

We serve Durango and the surrounding area for dirt work and brush hogging. Snow removal has a separate, smaller Hermosa and Animas Valley service area.

Is brush hogging the same as forestry mulching?

No. Brush hogging uses our tractor-mounted rotary mower for field and property vegetation. Forestry mulching uses a mulching head on our Bobcat E48 excavator for woody vegetation up to 6 inches in diameter. Send photos of what you want cleared so we can discuss the right approach.

What should I include in my request?

Include your location, photos, the area you want worked on and the result you want. For driveway repairs, show ruts, washouts or places where water collects. For mowing, show the vegetation and field area.

Can you haul away debris too?

We also offer junk removal and debris hauling. Let us know whether your project includes material that needs to leave the property.
